GMO GlobalSign HD conducted an online survey from June 16 to 19, 2026, targeting 544 business professionals currently using eSignature services. Results showed that 83.8% experienced reduced contract-related workloads, underscoring the broad recognition of eSignature services’ value. However, 69.3% of respondents said they had considered switching to another provider. The leading trigger was a mismatch between the service’s terms of use and transmission volume and the company’s actual needs (52.8%), reflecting gaps that can emerge as businesses grow and operational needs evolve. Key selection criteria included ease of use (52.8%), security (47.1%), and feature completeness (41.4%). Illustrating this trend, Noka Real Estate Co., Ltd. switched to “GMO Sign” after reevaluating the features it needed for full-scale eSignature use, citing system integration and a built-in SMS-sending feature as key deciding factors.
