What kind of company is
GMO GlobalSign Holdings?

A.
A company that provides a
“security system for the internet” that protects important transactions and information online.

In 1993, during the dawn of the internet—an era when many companies still owned their own expensive servers—we were the first in Japan to offer a new model called the “rental server.”
That was the starting point of GMO GlobalSign Holdings.

Since then, we have supported the “invisible but essential” safety of the internet—things such as contracts and communications—drawing on the advanced expertise we cultivated in operating cloud and rental servers, together with our electronic certification technologies (the encryption-security foundation that prevents eavesdropping and tampering), led by SSL server certificates that hold the No.1 share in Japan.
Today, leveraging these foundational technologies and a presence spanning 11 countries worldwide, we offer security solutions that support the digital transformation (DX) of a wide range of business operations.

At GMO GlobalSign Holdings, we will continue to build a future in which the safety and security of the internet become something society can simply take for granted.
