Tokyo – November 27, 2008 – GMO Internet Group company, GMO Hosting & Security has entered into a business partnership with Communication Telecom to offer a web site design service that allows the customers to pay for services in installments. Beginning December 12, GMO Hosting & Security will be seeking commission based sales partners and web design companies to participate.

Background to the Introduction of Akinai Honpo
As the Internet grows SMEs face greater demand to establish their own web sites. However, even at the low end web site design costs can run into several hundreds of thousands of yen, a significant burden for many small-scale companies. As a result web design companies are frequently forced to accept orders at massively discounted prices and produce lower quality web sites. The outcome is generally not satisfactory to either party.
This is why GMO Hosting & Security, in partnership with Communication Telecom, plans to provide a web site design service with an installment payment plan for SMEs.

Akinai Honpo
Akinai Honpo is a web site design service featuring an installment payment plan. GMO Hosting & Security in a partnership with Communication Telecom will offer Akinal Honpo through partner web design companies.
Using Akinai Honpo SMEs will be able to pay for web site design in installments, while the web site design company will receive the full amount in one payment relieving the burden on both sides.

Akinai Honpo System
The Akinai Honpo system will be executed through web design partner companies. GMO Hosting & Security acts as a credit agency merchant. Customers will be able to pay in installments after signing a business credit contract with a specified credit agency.
At the same time web design companies will be able to receive full payment from the credit agency in one installment after becoming a GMO Hosting & Security partner.
