GMO Trust Login Introduces First-in-Japan Feature Enabling Parent Companies to Deploy Authentication Settings Across Group Entities — Unifying Group-Wide Security and Streamlining Centralized Management —

On August 4, 2026, GMO GlobalSign K.K., a GMO Internet Group company, launched “Inter-Organizational Collaboration,” a new feature for its ID management and authentication service, GMO Trust Login. As the first identity-as-a-service (IDaaS) solution in Japan to offer this functionality, it allows parent companies to deploy their SAML authentication settings directly to group companies while keeping each company’s corporate ID (tenant) separate.

So far in 2026, ransomware infections and unauthorized access incidents originating at subsidiaries and group companies have been reported across industries, and the resulting disparities in security levels among group companies are increasingly viewed as a management risk. Separately, many companies manage SaaS contracts individually across group entities, which is also driving up management costs and operational burden.

The new feature addresses these challenges by equalizing security standards across group companies, reducing overall SaaS costs through bulk license purchases, and centralizing SAML configuration management. The service is priced at 200 yen (220 yen, tax included) per month for each member of a participating group company, with billing consolidated to the parent company’s account. GMO GlobalSign plans to add further features to strengthen group-wide identity governance, including centralized control of security policies and centralized management of provisioning.
