On October 21, 2026, GMO GlobalSign Holdings K.K., in collaboration with its consolidated group company GMO AI Connect Co., Ltd., launched the “AI Flow Option” for GMO Sign, its electronic contract service. As businesses expand their use of generative AI, the option supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging industry standard for connecting AI agents with external systems. Users can search and view contracts stored in GMO Sign and send signature requests from the generative AI tools they already use, without operating the service separately. GMO AI Connect operates the cloud-based remote MCP server and manages security, so users need only simple connection settings. Through an all-in-one structure within the group that extends to MCP server design and offers hands-on support, GMO GlobalSign Holdings plans to develop GMO Sign into an “AI contract operations platform” that safely and comprehensively supports the entire contract process.
