GMO Sign for kintone Launches, Adding Electronic Signatures Without Changing Document Generation Tools

On October 14, 2026, GMO GlobalSign Holdings K.K. launched GMO Sign for kintone, a new plug-in that adds electronic signature functionality to kintone, the business improvement platform from Cybozu, Inc.

Existing electronic contract integrations for kintone have mostly combined document generation with signing. GMO Sign for kintone provides signature functionality only, allowing organizations to introduce electronic signatures without changing their current document generation tools. The process from signature request to storage and management of signed documents can be completed entirely within kintone.

In addition to email, the plug-in supports SMS delivery and in-person signing on a tablet as optional features, enabling contracts with counterparties who do not routinely use email and in industries centered on face-to-face transactions. It also supports bulk sending and bulk signing for high-volume processing. With support for signer-based electronic signatures, in which GlobalSign, the certification authority operated by GMO GlobalSign Holdings, assures signer identity, local governments can also use it to digitize notices of administrative disposition.

GMO GlobalSign Holdings will exhibit at Cybozu Days Japan 2026 on November 12–13 and demonstrate the plug-in.
