GMO Cloud Offers Managed Services (Leading Public Cloud IaaS Provider Launches Full Suite of Managed Services)

 
 
Newport Beach, CA – September 27, 2012–GMO Internet Group subsidiary, GMO Cloud America Inc. today starts offering Managed Service options for highly acclaimed public cloud service, GMO Cloud Public.
 
GMO Cloud Public’s low cost Managed Services are available as individual options allowing customers to select only the functions they need and avoid spending on unnecessary services. Managed service options include security management, monitoring, data restoration and setup.

GMO Cloud Managed Services will include the following options.
 
Security Service Options
Firewall policy configuration, iptables/TCPWrapper base access control, DenyHosts configuration, SSL certificate installation, website compromise detection and reporting, and security updates.
Fee: $100 per month
 
Monitoring & Restoration Service Options
Live monitoring of virtual servers (ping), port monitoring (rebooted in case of failure), FTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTP, POP, HTTPS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, server reboot, and availability reporting.
Fee: $100 per month
 
Setup Service Options
Setup services* (data migration, consultation and virtual server initialization, and server architecture built to customer requirements), security pack, auto scale-up, auto scale-out, load balancer setup, modification of server configuration, log file deletion, mail queue deletion, free security assessment, firewall policy (consultation and configuration), access restriction settings for Iptables/TCPWrapper, SSL Installation (PLESK/HDE), SSL Installation (without management tool), SSL Relocation, security update support, WordPress installation, MovableType installation, and Perl/PHP module installation.

Fees: one-time fees ranging from $0 to $450 depending on needs – please inquire for quotation.* Setup services are only available for CentOS templates (excluding Beta versions) in the Japan (Tokyo) location.
