iSLE Increases Server Availability Guarantee for iCLUSTA

Tokyo – October 21, 2008 – GMO Hosting & Security announces that hosting brand iSLE has revised the server availability refund policy for shared server service, iCLUSTA . Beginning today, under the Availability Linked Refund System (ALRS) we are increasing the rate of availability on all plans. Availability on top plans has been raised from 99.99% to 100%.
iSLE aims to provide superior services to customers in the domestic web hosting market. GMO Hosting & Security is a GMO Internet Group company.

Under ALRS we refund service fees to the customer (in accordance with availability rate) when server availability falls below a specified rate. iSLE launched this system when the brand was first established to guarantee a higher quality service.
ALRS availability rates have now been raised from 99.99% to 100% on top-of-the-line iCLUSTA plans (and from 99.9% to 99.99% on other iCLUSTA plans). 

Background to the ALRS Availability Increase
The growing use of ASP and SaaS services has resulted in increased server loads and as a result stable operation has become more important than ever for hosting services. When selecting shared server, customers need to be able to identify high quality services from among the many hosting options available.
We actively disclose ALRS and other service data to enable customers to select high quality, high reliability services. In May of this year we were the first in the hosting industry to be certified by the Foundation for MultiMedia Communications under the gGuidelines for Information Disclosure concerning ASP/SaaS Security and Reliabilityh.
iSLE is the first in the industry to offer 100% availability ALRS. We want the service quality we offer to be clearly recognizable to customers. iCLUSTA operates on a redundant, fault tolerant system with high level server availability.
